Dr. Nagwa Abou El-Naga obtained Ph.D. obtained her Ph.D. from Frankfurt University, Germany in Theoretical Physics. In her long-life learning she obtained a Master Degree in Distance Education from Athabasca University Canada.

Co-Founder of Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 1988. The HCT colleges followed the model of the Canadian Community Colleges. From 1988 to1997 Dr. Nagwa Abou El-Naga developed and established Applied Learning Programs that have prepared the workforce of UAE women and men in Business and Engineering fields.://www.hct.ac.ae/en/


Qatar Foundation for Science and Technology. Dr. Nagwa Abou El- Naga was a member of the seven Arab Immigrated Scientists who has been invited by Qatar Foundation for Science and Technology in December (2005). The seven members who were selected worldwide, have initiated the breaking ground for the establishment of postgraduate research infrastructure in Qatar.
